Pre-production
The location where my film will be shot at is a house. It's a house because the characters are going to be relaxing and watching TV. For example, the film Poltergeist was filmed in a house. A house is the most convenient place for a horror film, a comedy film, and any other film possible. A house has the perfect environment for any type of film.
We want to make our film creepy and eerie by including a low angle shot of a ghost. My film will have the conventional opening sequence of a suspense (horror) film. The opening sequence will start off with Shamar eating popcorn and drinking soda while watching TV. When the ghost appears in the bathroom, we will include flashing lights to make the shot more scary. All of the scene will be filmed at my house. The ghost's face will have a huge smiling grin on her face. That's conventional for a horror film killer.
Our preliminary storyboard looks like the script for our film. One of our storyboard shots is a man at a house watching TV with pajamas on. One of our storyboard shots is also about a ghost appearing in the bathroom with flashing lights in the background. Shamar will get thrown in the bedroom and the ghost will slam the door with force.
For the shooting schedule of my film, me and my group will have 2 weeks to film all of our shots at my house. There is a class period where we could film some shots for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I will be using my Iphone 11 to film the exterior shot of my house.
The shooting schedule for our film is the first day record some shots and then repeat.
The technology needed to film is:
a mirrorless camera, DSLR camera, or camcorder
microphones, headphones, and maybe an audio recorder
a tripod to keep your shots steady
lights or reflectors
a computer with an good editing app
